Lately, I've been on a creative revision streak.  I updated my original Darth Talon picture and am in the process of revising my original Judy Nails picture.  I'm not sure what else I'll tackle after that.  But here's my question: Should an artist revise his past works?  I as an artist typically don't believe in dwelling in the past and trying to make pictures perfect.  But I do believe that revisiting works several years old with a fresh eye and new knowledge can improve them.  I'm fixing some of my old works primarily to bring them closer in line with my current stuff.  I want my gallery to look more consistent, more recent, and just overall better representative of my talent.  I feel a lot of my works were fairly well done the first time around, but they can be done better now.  But should an artist go back and fix old works?  Or should he leave them as a mark of his artistic evolution?
